MetaMotion™ Clinic - Precision in Every Step

Turning motion data into measurable health outcomes.

At MetaMotion™ Clinic, we provide a complete spectrum of gait and movement assessment services designed to deliver precise, evidence-based insights for every patient. Each journey begins with a comprehensive Initial Assessment, where our specialists evaluate joint range, muscle strength, and movement quality to determine the most effective testing plan. For in-depth analysis, our 3D Gait Analysis uses advanced Vicon motion capture technology to build a virtual 3D model of your lower limbs, identifying imbalances and inefficiencies that may cause pain or limit performance. When a quicker, focused evaluation is needed, our Clinical-Based Sensor Assessment offers fast, wireless data capture using medical-grade IMU sensors, providing instant results in real time.

For patients continuing their rehabilitation at home, our Home-Based Sensor Monitoring enables 24/7 motion tracking and digital biofeedback, ensuring consistency and progress beyond the clinic. Finally, our Consultation service brings together local and international experts who interpret these findings and design tailored treatment plans – from exercise therapy and orthotic solutions to surgical guidance. Together, these integrated services empower every individual to move with confidence, recover efficiently, and achieve optimal performance.

Initial Assessment

Your first step towards understanding better movement.

Every new patient begins with a comprehensive initial assessment to evaluate joint range, muscle strength, and overall movement quality.

Our clinicians will discuss your primary concerns, answer your questions, and guide you in choosing the right assessment plan. This first appointment lays the foundation for all further analysis and treatment.

3D Gait Analysis

Where movement meets measurable precision.

Following the initial evaluation, we perform a 3D gait analysis using reflective sensors placed from hip to foot, creating a virtual model of your lower limbs.

Powered by Vicon motion capture technology, our system measures your movement in real time and compares it against validated control databases. The session identifies gait imbalances, muscular weaknesses, or compensations that may contribute to pain or injury.

The appointment typically lasts around 2 hours and includes:

  • Custom motion capture setup and calibration.
  • Comparative data analysis against normative databases.
  • A digital report downloadable from your patient portal.

Clinical-Based Sensor Assessment

Quick, accurate, and wireless movement analysis.

Not every condition requires full 3D analysis. For faster, targeted assessments, we use clinical-grade IMU sensors – lightweight, wireless devices designed in the UK and Canada.

These sensors capture real-time gait and movement data across key body segments. Instant reports are generated through advanced software, helping clinicians and patients view progress immediately.

Ideal for: rapid screening, rehabilitation tracking, and post-injury follow-ups.

Home-Based Sensor Monitoring

Rehabilitation that moves with you.

Our home-based sensor system extends clinical insight beyond the clinic walls. These portable IMUs measure your movement 24/7, providing digital biofeedback through sound and visual cues during exercises.

This allows continuous rehabilitation, helping your clinician track improvement and adjust your therapy remotely.

Best for: ongoing recovery, home exercise compliance, and long-term progress monitoring.

Consultation

Expert guidance from movement specialists.

A MetaMotion™ consultation ensures every assessment leads to a clear, actionable plan. Our local and international experts review your movement data and clinical history to develop tailored recommendations – from exercise therapy and orthotic support to surgical consultations where required.

Your consultation includes:

  • Review of assessment results and diagnostic findings.
  • Personalised treatment roadmap based on evidence.
  • Access to ongoing follow-up sessions for monitoring.
