Frequently Asked Questions

Yes – we will always aim to schedule you as soon as possible if there is availability. However, our clinic books up quickly, so we strongly advise that you book in advance. Evening and weekend slots may also be available.

At present, we do not offer home-visit appointments. Instead, our home-based sensor system allows you to complete assessments and rehabilitation in your own environment and upload data for review.

Yes – we provide dedicated paediatric assessment and rehabilitation services. Our clinicians are trained to manage conditions such as in-toeing, flat feet and other developmental movement issues in children and adolescents.

Currently, our services are not covered by insurance networks in Saudi Arabia. You will need to pay for your appointment and you may submit the receipt for reimbursement (depending on your policy).

The duration depends on the type of assessment selected. Initial consultations may take approximately 45–60 minutes, while full 3D gait analyses typically last around 2 hours to allow for marker placement, data capture and review.

Please bring:

  • Any relevant imaging or referral letters (if available).
  • The footwear you wear most often (including trainers if running or sport-related).
  • Comfortable clothing suitable for movement (shorts or leggings are recommended).
  • Any orthotics or insoles you already use.

A 2D assessment uses video or sensor-based observation in two dimensions, whereas 3D gait analysis utilises multiple cameras, reflective markers and advanced software to map movement in three dimensions. The 3D method offers more detailed insight into joint angles, force distribution and movement patterns.

After your analysis, you will receive a comprehensive report (digital and/or printed) that outlines findings, movement metrics, recommendations and next steps. You may also attend a consultation to discuss results in person.

No, our assessments are entirely non-invasive and comfortable. You will be walking, running or performing functional tasks while sensors or markers capture motion data. There is no discomfort associated with the analysis itself.

Yes, one key benefit of gait and movement analysis is identifying imbalances or compensatory movement patterns before they contribute to injury. This proactive approach supports injury prevention and optimised movement health.

No referral is required to book an appointment. However, if your insurance policy requires a referral for reimbursement, you may wish to obtain one in advance.

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer the appointment to another patient. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee. Please call us to confirm.

Yes – our services cover gait (walking), running biomechanics, and functional movement analysis (including jumping, squatting or sport-specific tasks). We tailor the assessment to your goals and condition.

The frequency depends on your treatment plan and progress. For many patients, a follow-up assessment is recommended every 3–6 months or after a significant change in condition or movement goal.
